Emily is an experienced script and pitch consultant in both the non-scripted and scripted spaces, having worked on projects in various stages of development for major studios and networks.
Emily is also an expert joke writer, having done punch-ups on over 30 scripts in various stages of development. She has written sketches performed live across New York and Los Angeles, as well as coached and written for nationally touring stand-up comics.
Emily is an official script reader for the Austin Film Festival in both TV and Feature categories. Her own scripts Dean’s List, Middle Gentry, A Doll’s House, and Friends and Lovers have placed in numerous screenwriting competitions (including Launchpad, FinalDraft Big Break Screenwriting Contest, and ScreenCraft).
Emily holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MFA in Writing for Screen and Television from USC School of Cinematic Arts.
